rise/fall of the pest population based on the survey observations.
Mass
multiplication of parasites, predators and Insect Pathogen in the
Laboratory and their release in the field against the target pests.
To popularize the I.P.M Technology among the farmers and state
functionaries of Department of Agriculture & Horticulture
through the I.P.M Training and Demonstration Programs.
To educate
the farming community, State functionaries and NGOs about the importance of conservation and augmentation of
natural enemies in the ecosystem.
To
document and revive the traditional methods of farming.
To educate
the farmers about the
safe handling and judicious
use of pesticides.
To
make the I.P.M Technology/ Knowledge a mission among the masses
